Allmax are a supplements manufacturer based in Canada. They are a relatively new company, but they have an excellent team who are responsible for the introduction of Quickmass, a rapid weight gainer, that claims to give gains of 10 lbs in 10 days.

At 1010 calories per serving, Allmax Quickmass immediately gave the impression of being another cheap, low quality weight gainer, full of fat and high in sugar. But, looking at the label and reading forum reviews, etc. it appeared to be the exact opposite. Quickmass provides a whopping 56g of high quality protein per serving from 8 different sources, including whey concentrate, isolate, hydrolysate, calcium caseinate, micellar casein and egg albumen. Carbs are low GI, easily absorbed maltodextrin, like used in CNP Pro Mass. About 12% of the calories found in Quickmass come from good fats, such as CLA, Flax Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, MCTs and Borage Oil. Also included in the mix is Allmax’s NP5™ technology, which includes Creatine Monohydrate, Di Creatine Malate, L-Taurine and Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate. Every forum post I have read about Quickmass so far point towards it being a great product and we think it will become very popuular in 2011.

Allmax Quickmass – Recommended Usage

Allmax recommend using Quickmass twice per day (4 scoops, twice per day) whilst trying to bulk up. The first serving should be consumed between meals 1 and 2 and the second serving should be consumed as a post workout shake. If you want to maintain your weight, then simply use Quickmass at the same times, but halve the serving size to 2 scoops. Consuming such high amounts of carbs with the creatine and protein makes the best use of the creatine and you really should see some huge gains in short time. Just make sure your training is higher intensity than normal by doing extra forced reps, supersets or whatever is needed. Leave your comments to let me know your thoughts on this product. The two heavyweights in this category are Maximuscle Cyclone and Reflex One Stop. But, are these supplements so popular because they are excellent products, or because they are advertised excellently? In short, the answer is both. Maximuscle Cyclone Vs. Reflex One Stop

Both bodybuilding supplements are excellent quality and their “overall” rating has only been lowered by their “taste” ratings. There are better tasting all-in-one bodybuilding supplements, but that is usually because they are high in sugars and lower in quality ingredients, which is not good. Both Maximuscle Cyclone and Reflex One Stop mix easily and digest well, but One Stop is better in terms of price, as you get more servings for your money.

It appears that One Stop and Cyclone are both very similar supplements. However, One Stop is slightly cheaper, gives an extra 8 servings per tub and also provides an extra 7g of protein per serving. So, which all-in-one bodybuilding supplement would I buy? Well, I like both supplements, but Reflex One Stop seems to be slightly in front of Maximuscle Cyclone at the moment. However, there are other better products such as AST Muscle XGF and Cytosport Muscle Milk, which receive better feedback and more repeat orders at our store, as well as better ratings on bodybuilding.com.

Does Supplementing with Cyclone or One Stop give Side Effects?

These products are both safe to use by men and women, but you should always consult your GP before starting any new exercise or diet programme. Both products contain creatine, which can give minor side effects, as dicussed in the creatine supplements blog article.

It should be remebered that both of these products are made from real food sources, but are in higher doses than you would find in normal sized portions. However, it is hard to say whether these people are new to bodybuilding and are guaranteed to get results, or if they are already involved in bodybuilding and have seen improvements since chaning their supplements.

Maximuscle Cyclone is an excellent product for someone just getting into bodybuilding, as long as you can handle the taste. It is also an ideal supplement for people involved in sports requiring strength, speed and power, such as football, rugby, basketball, tennis, etc. However, there are better products available which also taste better, such as AST Muscle XGF and Cytosport Monster Milk, which receive better feedback and more repeat orders at our store, as well as better ratings on bodybuilding.com.
