Allmax are a supplements manufacturer based in Canada. They are a relatively new company, but they have an excellent team who are responsible for the introduction of Quickmass, a rapid weight gainer, that claims to give gains of 10 lbs in 10 days.

Quickmass Overview

Allmax Quickmass Label

At 1010 calories per serving, Allmax Quickmass immediately gave the impression of being another cheap, low quality weight gainer, full of fat and high in sugar. But, looking at the label and reading forum reviews, etc. it appeared to be the exact opposite. Quickmass provides a whopping 56g of high quality protein per serving from 8 different sources, including whey concentrate, isolate, hydrolysate, calcium caseinate, micellar casein and egg albumen. Carbs are low GI, easily absorbed maltodextrin, like used in CNP Pro Mass. About 12% of the calories found in Quickmass come from good fats, such as CLA, Flax Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, MCTs and Borage Oil. Also included in the mix is Allmax’s NP5™ technology, which includes Creatine Monohydrate, Di Creatine Malate, L-Taurine and Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate. Every forum post I have read about Quickmass so far point towards it being a great product and we think it will become very popuular in 2011.

Allmax Quickmass – Recommended Usage

Allmax recommend using Quickmass twice per day (4 scoops, twice per day) whilst trying to bulk up. The first serving should be consumed between meals 1 and 2 and the second serving should be consumed as a post workout shake. If you want to maintain your weight, then simply use Quickmass at the same times, but halve the serving size to 2 scoops. Consuming such high amounts of carbs with the creatine and protein makes the best use of the creatine and you really should see some huge gains in short time. Just make sure your training is higher intensity than normal by doing extra forced reps, supersets or whatever is needed. Leave your comments to let me know your thoughts on this product. One final point is that we are trialling Allmax Quickmass ourselves but it is the first day today, so no point saying anything other than it tastes great, but you need a blender to mix the all in one shake properly.

Regards,

All-In-One Bodybuilding Supplements – Promart Verdict*

There is so much competition in the all-in-one bodybuilding supplements category, that there really isn’t much to choose between the products as each brand tries to go the extra mile with the ingredients. However, my favoured products are AST Muscle XGF, CNP Pro Solo and Reflex One Stop, as they are priced reasonably, use low GI carbs, contain extra ingredients such as beta alanine and taurine and taste better than the others. Also, they include reasonable amounts of macronbutrients which can be digested, compared with some of the more extreme products, where the serving sizes are too large to be digested properly, in which case the serving size could be reduced.

Please leave your comments below reviewing any of the above products. I will add your reviews to this article.

Pro Solo Overview

CNP Pro Solo is an “all-in-one” bodybuilding supplement, which contains all of the main ingredients required by the body to gain lean muscle size and strength. All-in-one supplements are the most convenient and cost effective way of meeting the nutritional requirements of busy people involved in high intensity sports and bodybuilding. This enables people who do not have the time or the desire to use several different supplements throughout the day to get all the nutrients they need from a quick shake in the morning and another in the evening.

Why Pro-Solo?

Pro Solo is manufactured by CNP Professional, who are a well established bodybuilding & sports supplements company, with a very large following. They have built their reputation based upon the quality of their products and their research into protein absorption and protein synthesis. Pro Solo is one of CNP’s most recent products, which was only first released in 2009, as a rival product to Maximuscle Cyclone and Reflex One Stop, which have both been around for quite a few years now. The difference with Pro Solo is that it has been designed to be a better product and give better results than the competition. When comparing all-in-one ingredients, most have 25-30g of protein and 5g creatine, with variations on the remaining ingredients. This is where Pro Solo stands out, as it contains 8 additional muscle building ingredients, each of which are described below.

Carbohydrate

32.2g (sugars 25.4g)

Sci-MX Omni MX is a powerful all-in-one bodybuilding supplement that contains the most effective ingredients required for building lean muscle mass, such as creatine monohydrate, HMB, L-Glutamine, Beta Alanine and much more. Each serving also delivers 35g of Sci-MX’s award winning gradual release protein.

Everyone knows that the most popular all-in-one supplement is Maximuscle Cyclone, but with Omni MX, you get everything Cyclone offers, along with some additional muscle enhancing ingredients, whilst tasting much better and costing slightly less per serving.

Sci-MX Omni MX – Usage Instructions

Omni MX should be used twice per day, ideally taken first thing on a morning and immediately after training. On non-training days, consume your second serving around the time you would normally leave the gym, but mid-way between normal meals.

Combining Sci-MX Omni MX with a high intensity training programme, a proper bodybuilding diet and plenty of sleep will allow you to make considerable muscle size and strength gains within a couple of weeks.

If you are looking for all-in-one bodybuilding supplements which supply your body with the extra nutrients required to grow bigger muscles, then which supplement you choose? The two heavyweights in this category are Maximuscle Cyclone and Reflex One Stop. But, are these supplements so popular because they are excellent products, or because they are advertised excellently? In short, the answer is both. They are both great products and at Promart Supplements, several of our staff have used both products and below is our opinion of these all-in-one bodybuilding supplements:

Both bodybuilding supplements are excellent quality and their “overall” rating has only been lowered by their “taste” ratings. There are better tasting all-in-one bodybuilding supplements, but that is usually because they are high in sugars and lower in quality ingredients, which is not good. Both Maximuscle Cyclone and Reflex One Stop mix easily and digest well, but One Stop is better in terms of price, as you get more servings for your money.

In terms of quality, here is the nutritional information:

It appears that One Stop and Cyclone are both very similar supplements. However, One Stop is slightly cheaper, gives an extra 8 servings per tub and also provides an extra 7g of protein per serving. So, which all-in-one bodybuilding supplement would I buy? Well, I like both supplements, but Reflex One Stop seems to be slightly in front of Maximuscle Cyclone at the moment. However, there are other better products such as AST Muscle XGF and Cytosport Muscle Milk, which receive better feedback and more repeat orders at our store, as well as better ratings on bodybuilding.com.

Does Supplementing with Cyclone or One Stop give Side Effects?

These products are both safe to use by men and women, but you should always consult your GP before starting any new exercise or diet programme. Both products contain creatine, which can give minor side effects, as dicussed in the creatine supplements blog article.

It should be remebered that both of these products are made from real food sources, but are in higher doses than you would find in normal sized portions. For example, creatine is found in beef, fish, etc., whey protein comes directly from milk, HMB comes from the amino acid Leucine, found in milk, eggs and any other complete protein source, carbohydrates come from corn, oats or barley. So, all these products are doing are putting together the best types and combinations of nutrients found in normal food into powder form, ready to be consumed by anyone who wants to gain muscular size and strength. Other than that – just think how many people have been using these products over the years – if there were side effects, do you still think these products would be available from supermarkets and high street shops all over the UK?

Do you have any further questions? If so, leave your comments. If not, look at the product pages and decide which one you would like to buy!
