Top 10 Tips for Shredding Body Fat for the Summer
Everywhere you look these days, you see people trying to lose weight, whether it be on TV, at the gym, at work, or just in general conversation. Well, in my opinion, the supposed experts on the TV programmes, who deal with extreme cases, are sending the wrong messages out to the general public. The average person could follow a much more effective diet and training strategy to lose weight for good, rather than yo-yo’ing from month to month. This article, which is split into 3 parts over 3 days, gives 10 tips for manipulating your body fat levels and muscle definition to meet any target you may have, whether it be for a middle aged bloke in average shape wanting to see if he still has abs, a young woman who wants to flatten her stomach and get curvier, or a trainee bodybuilder wanting further advice about how to reduce body fat.
This article is based upon genuine scientific research along with 15 years experience of bodybuilding. “Bodybuilding”, you are thinking? “that’s not for me”. Well, don’t be put off by the term ‘bodybuilding’, because you won’t be using anabolic steroids and you won’t need to buy any bodybuilding supplements, you just need to do things that you already do, but in different ways, which I will explain in parts 2 and 3, over the coming days.
Bodybuilding diets and routines allow you to get the results you want within the minimum time possible. For example, if you want a 6 pack, you need to get your body fat level down to around 10-12%. You can then maintain your physique by doing the minimum possible in terms of diets and training. Doing this would improve health, increase energy levels and make you look and feel a lot better. For the typical 18-30 bloke, who is carrying a bit too much fat, these kind of results can be achieved very quickly, when following the Top 10 Tips (read on). However, if you would prefer to follow training programs that you see on TV or in magazines, then you are likely to get fit and feel good, whilst possibly losing weight, but you will be losing muscle as well as fat, leading towards a flat, weak physique, rather than a toned, athletic physique. You don’t want to be the typical fit fat guy do you? Or worse still, skinny fat? Thought not! Well check out tomorrow’s blog post for Top Tip Number 1…
Regards,
Martin.
